Q1: Who’s our #ShoutOut of the Month?
This September, our “SOotM” goes to us, Team ANJET, for reaching our 16TH YEAR in business! It’s fairly uncommon for companies to last more than 2-3 years but we’ve managed to extend our lifespan exponentially! Hats off to the folks who “get it done” without complaint nor delay. Thank you for all!
Q2: What did you make of PARIS OLYMPICS SUMMER 2024. Was it worthwhile to be involved? (Michael L., Chicago, IL)
A2: We cannot express our gratitude enough for being a conduit for moving high-end passengers from continent to continent. Though, as one can imagine, it is often more than expected, we are so proud that we were able to get the job done without any (major) hiccups. With international travel, there are always snags involved, but none were out of reach, and we look forward to #LA28 too!
Q3: What book do you recommend reading to cuddle up to this fall season?
In fact, I have TWO “recos” for you this month. They are both polar opposites, but equally enjoyable reads. The first is Maybe You Should Talk to Someone, by Lori Gottlieb. It is an interesting dynamic whereby a psychiatrist (Gottlieb) narrates a true story concerning the counseling that SHE receives – all while dealing with her own clients’ issues.
It’s quite a twist from the psych who simply tells stories solely about his/her/their clients. Very nice to read with some wild plot twists. Again, all is true (except the standard name changes to protect the innocent)
The second is Wait Til Next Year, by the incredible Doris Kearns Goodwin. She brings us back to her childhood and traces her upbringing along the lines of being a Brooklyn Dodgers fan. It is a fantastic read and probably best for those who are sports fans as well as avid readers. Per usual, Ms. Kearns Goodwin is always a “pleasure read!”
Happy fall to you all – and take care of yourselves!
