Banking regulators step in to save struggling regional banks
#Shoutout of the month
Our shout out of the month is: all of the banking regulators responsible for stopping the bank contagion. We need to give the public a break from a continuous stream of crises: the 2008 financial meltdown, the resulting Great Recession, Covid-19, and now revived uncertainty due to overexposure to risk and financial carelessness at some of these institutions’ highest levels. The economy (and our people) can only take so much stress before something really ugly happens. Let’s be better than that. Thank you!
Expired Empty Legs
Why do you show empty legs that have expired? That’s a very good question. The answer is, rather than delete each previously available one way, we want to preserve it so that our site visitors can compare former trips to possible future ones. This informs our visitors – so they have at least some idea of what a similar route they are considering – might cost them.
Though far from an exact science, it does serve a purpose. Thank you for asking!
Book mention of the month
Sometimes, it’s a good thing to set aside all of the chaos and focus on the narrow vision of K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Simon). I won’t call you the other “S” word, so you’re welcome!
